MAX! Merlot™ Fireplace Qualifies for US Tax Rebate!

August 2009 – The Merlot™ Fireplace has qualified for the Tax Rebate under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act).

This product meets the qualifications as a biomass-burning (wood) home heating appliance with at least a 75% thermal efficiency rating.

The US Biomass Tax Credit is a tax credit for US homeowners who purchase the Merlot™ and place it into service during 2009 and 2010. These homeowners are eligible to receive a 30% tax credit up to $1,500 when they file their taxes.
